Commonwealth Joe Coffee Roasters (CWJ) is a premium specialty coffee roaster and retailer that pioneered Nitro Cold Brew coffee on tap in offices in the DC Metro area. In 2017, CWJ expanded Office Nitro operations to New York City. Now in 2018, we are in DC, NYC, Baltimore, and Philadelphia.

With over 14 years of roasting experience, our mission is to breathe new life into an ancient craft and make amazing coffee approachable. That’s why we brought our coffee into offices, own and operate The Java Shack in Courthouse, opened Commonwealth Joe Coffee Roasters in Pentagon City, and launched a fleet of Nitro Cold Brew trikes across Arlington.
